Vehicle washing produces runoff containing road dirt, traffic film residue, oils and cleaning products. At sites where drainage is unsuitable, this wash water needs to be managed rather than allowed to enter surface water drains or surrounding ground.
Mobile Fleetwash can provide wastewater containment as part of the on-site cleaning service. Where required, wash water is captured during cleaning and reclaimed into tanks carried on the mobile unit. The collected wastewater can then be stored safely and transported away from site for approved disposal.
This makes on-site vehicle washing possible at Leeds and West Yorkshire depots where a suitable foul drain, interceptor or agreed discharge arrangement is not available.

What We Clean During a Typical Visit
Each visit starts with the agreed vehicle list, wash area and cleaning specification for the site. Vehicles are pre-treated to help loosen traffic film, road grime and surface dirt. Areas that need extra attention can be manually brushed before high-pressure water is used across the main exterior surfaces.
Cleaning can include bodywork, cab backs, wheels, wheel arches, windows, mirrors, lights and visible chassis areas depending on the vehicle type and agreed requirements.
For liveried vehicles, regular washing also helps keep branding and vehicle identification clearer rather than allowing road film and grime to build up across the bodywork.
Once the work is complete, vehicles can be recorded digitally, with supporting photographs and service reports available where required.
