The drainage available at industrial and transport sites can vary considerably. Some locations already have a suitable wash area, while others need additional wastewater controls before regular vehicle cleaning can take place.
Vehicle wash water can contain road dirt, oils, traffic film residue and cleaning products. Where drainage is limited or unsuitable, Mobile Fleetwash can use containment equipment to capture the wastewater during cleaning.
The wash water can be reclaimed into tanks carried on the mobile unit and removed from site for approved disposal where required. This allows us to clean HGVs, trucks and vans on site even where suitable drainage isn’t available.
Before a regular schedule starts, we can discuss the proposed wash area and drainage arrangements so the right setup can be agreed.

How Vehicles Are Cleaned On Site
Cleaning takes place in an agreed area at your depot, yard or operating site.
Vehicles are pre-treated to help loosen traffic film, road grime and surface dirt. Areas that need more attention can be manually brushed before high-pressure water is used across the main exterior surfaces.
Depending on the agreed cleaning specification, attention can be given to bodywork, cabs, cab backs, wheels, wheel arches, windows, mirrors, lights and visible chassis areas.
For vehicles preparing for an MOT or workshop inspection, a separate MOT steam cleaning service can also be arranged where required.
Once the cleaning is finished, we can record the completed vehicles digitally and provide photos and service reports where required.
