The wash area and drainage setup are important parts of arranging on-site vehicle cleaning. Wash water can contain road dirt, traffic film, oils and residues from cleaning products, so it should not be allowed to enter unsuitable drainage or surrounding ground.
Before cleaning starts, we can discuss where the vehicles will be washed and what drainage is available. Some sites have a suitable arrangement already in place. Others may require wastewater containment.
Where containment is needed, specialist equipment can capture the wash water during cleaning and reclaim it into onboard tanks. The collected wastewater can then be taken away from site for approved disposal.
This means mobile HGV, truck and van washing can still be considered at depots where suitable drainage is limited or unavailable.
